Good location and value

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good value and great location. I would return to this location but get a room on a higher floor next time

A little noisy from a motor on the roof next to my bedroom window. Sometimes people out on the balcony terrace area next to the room doors talking loudly in the evening. Noise from downstairs and other rooms begins at 8 am so I need to be the bed by midnight if you want 8 hours sleep

There was so loud machine sound in the room from the...

There was so loud machine sound in the room from the building in front of the hotel. So we could not sleep. When we asked manager to change the room, she said she don't have room and the sound will be stop at 11pm but the sound was not stopped until morning. And smells bad. I feel i'm in the closet because of the smell. And the same day, room light was out of work in the night. They gave us the stand but it is so uncomfortabale and dark. so i have to change the room that day. In fact she has another room left in the hotel. She lied to us. I feel so uncomfortable.

part of the group I was travelling with was moved to a fancy villa as there was no longer space in the hotel, although already booked in advance.

nothing really to complain, the people in the hotel didn't like it too much

Very pleasant stay.

Both recepcionist we met were amazing and friendly, very professional and helpful. Apartman was really large. The breakfast was also fantastic. I would choose this hotel again.

Disappointing

The hotel is very well located. Close to everything. The penthouse room has an amazing terrace and is spacious. The staff was nice and tried to help with all the issues mentioned below. The internet worked well.

The hotel charges right after reservation. In the confirmation it says 14 days before the stay though. Refunds are taking work and go only through booking. The hotel answers no emails. On day and night there was no water at all. So no shower after the beach and before going to bed. The ventilation system of the Asian restaurant next door goes along the outside wall. It was a terrible noise between 13pm and 11pm. Smelly water and uncomfortable beds were the least problems.

I like the staff over all and that says alot taking in account the great location its situated at. The rooms are big and accodamations. They have laudery service and will do anything to make your stay good. I will defenitly go back there when in Playa!!

They was still working to make the hotel better so there was a little bit of construction. Maybe they done now

The room is really new and good looking.

The room is really new and good looking. Moreover it was very clean.

Firstly when we came into the room there was a water leak so we told to the staff if they could do something with it however they let us wait for a while so I had to repair the sink which was wrongly connected. Then we asked the staff if they could dry the floor and the staff brought some towels and didn't even dry half of it so again I had to do it by myself. During the night it was hard to sleep because not far from the hotel there is a pub so it was really noisy. The room is really nice looking and new but they could help more the clients when there is a water leak

no A/C in the room on the hot nite ! Stuff didnt even know how to turn it on I had to find the switch myself. Dirty sheets and towels, mold in the bathroom, very shabby conds of the room Lock to the patio is barely working Somehow I did not bother to check the rating of this place otherwise I would never put my foot in it

Horrible smell in the room (number 3) horrible beds. Yu can hear all the noise from the street. Dirty bathroom. Hotel is not as shown on the pictures. They took photo of my passport (instead of making hard copy) and copy of my credit card both sides!!! I had to ask the girl to delete the photo showing my security code number. Only valuable thing was the service. Friendly staff

Location cannot be beat at this price. Convenient, safe, decent place to sleep and shower.

Location cannot be beat, especially for this price. Right off 5th ave, middle-ish area. Easy to get to everything. Staff is very friendly. I stayed here with my 7 year old daughter. Convenient, safe, decent place to sleep and shower. There is a restaurant downstairs which we never ate at (no particular reason, looks cute and the food smells good, we were just out all the time). They also have very inexpensive laundry service. COFFEE RECOMMENDATION: There is not coffee maker in the room. There is an oper-air, upscale looking restaurant on the next block to the left if you leave the hotel (sorry, never got the name). They open around 7 and will make a latte to go for less than $2 USD. There's also a convenience store very close. BEACH RECOMMENDATION: I also forget the name, but right next to Lido's Beach Club there is a smaller, cheaper beach club. This is 5 minute walk, maybe a little more. The owner is very friendly, cheap beer and decent margaritas, and as long as we were buying drinks they let my daughter swim in the pool too. I won't attempt directions, just look up Lido's and it's directly to the left, like their chairs basically run into each other. We had a little penthouse type suite with four beds for just me and her. Beds were all different, some comfy some not. A lot of room, and a private patio! Overall we enjoyed our stay and are already considering coming back here next year.

This is not luxury by any means. Like a lot of reviews say the rooms are old and dated, not the cleanest either but not bad. I didn't have working AC, took me a day to realize that I could got hot water if I turn the cold and let it run instead of hot. There was a hot tub on our patio that doesn't work. I could complain about a lot of things, but I feel overall it was a decent stay that met our needs. If you understand what you're getting and are ok with that, this place is extremely affordable for the amazing location.
